Sensors
Eijkelkamp Agrisearch Equipment has developed various sensors within its e+ sensor product range. The measured data is stored internally and can be transferred to the user via the e-SENSE telemtric system or linked directly to a laptop or PC via the read out unit.
e+ WATER L
The e+ WATER L (Level) sensor is an intelligent and accurate sensor for the measurement and registration of the levels and temperatures of surface water. The level measurement values are automatically (internally) compensated for variations in air pressure and water density variations due to temperature fluctuations. The sensor is frost resistant and can be applied in all seasons without any problems.
e+ SOIL MCT
The e+ SOIL MCT measures soil moisture content, conductivity and temperature. The measurement principle of the sensor is based on the 'Frequency Domain Method (FD)', as described by Wageningen University and Research centre, measured with a frequency of 20 MHz, allowing the system to measure Dielectrical constant, Conductivity and temperature.
e+ RAIN
The standard e+ RAIN set consists of an e+ RAIN logger and the synthetic e+ RAIN gauge. The e+ RAIN measures the intensity of the rain over certain periods as well as totalled amounts (integrator function). The user can set the duration of the measurement periods himself, which makes it possible to measure both peak intensity as well as precipitation averages over longer periods. The integrator function makes it easy to rapidly determine how much rain has fallen during a certain period. The e+ Logger has the capacity of responding with alarms when pre-set limits are exceeded
and these can be sent on to the user via the e-SENSE-system.
e+ OVERFLOW
The e+ OVERFLOW sensor is an intelligent and accurate sensor for measuring and registering sewer overflows. The instrument is installed at the overflow wall in the sewer. The sensor accurately measures the height of the water column with the built-in pressure meter. The e+ OVERFLOW is fitted with extremely stable and precise sensors that make uninterrupted measurements in the field possible over a long period.
e+ CONTROL
The e+ CONTROL is a handy and robust field instrument for programming and reading all of the e+ sensors. It is a splash-proof device that can communicate with the e+ sensors through both a contactless IrDA connection and through cables. The
e+ CONTROL can read out a logger with a single click on the button and store the measured values in a file that can simply be transferred via USB to the PC. Its large storage capacity allows 1,000 loggers to be read without problem.
